Well, clearly there’s more to Paris and France than the Eiffel Tower. There’s Notre Dame, Champs-\'{E}lys\'{e}es, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, to name a few, just for Paris. But the Eiffel Tower tends to be the most well-known and recognizable.
