Cryptarithmetic Puzzles for 2023, Puzzle #2

The previous puzzle to kick off this puzzle series started off tricky with TWO x SIX = TWELVE. Staying with the TWELVE theme for Puzzle #2, try out this lighter version in Roman numerals.

There is only one solution and you can do it by hand! It works both as Roman numeral arithmetic but also as a cryparithmetic puzzle. This is a good one to give to students to try as either a warm up or a brain teaser depending on where your students. The solution is below the image. The previous puzzle is here.
