Are you teaching a geometry course, or do you like puzzles, or both? In either case, today’s puzzle is all multiplication, has only one solution, and is a correct math formula! This is doable by hand, even though the only common letter is the R and the result of the multiplication is bookended by As!
Were you able to figure out yesterday’s puzzle?
And here’s today’s puzzle!
Want a hint?
PI = 96
R = 7
AREA = 4704
I used Microsoft Excel to multiply all of the numbers from 10-99 by squares numbers from 16-81.
Then, I started looking for patterns in the grid I had created. Very interesting patterns emerged!
Thanks for the puzzle.
That’s a cool way to solve it! and I agree, the patterns are cool. This is the number play I was hoping for! Thank you for solving the puzzle!
