Alphanumeric Puzzle 6 — Double-sided

Today’s puzzle is double-sided! It’s a valid arithmetic statement and involves some rich exploration of place value interaction. This is doable by hand and one of the reasons I like it is that it isn’t too hard to stumble into a solution. I think it’s a great puzzle to give to younger students and let them stumble around.
